Also in 2022, for the third consecutive year, the London Marathon will be held in the fall, while traditionally the race was held in the spring. In 2020 the pandemic forced to limit participation to top runners along a different route than usual, consisting of multiple laps around St James’s Park, while the marathon returned to the streets of London with the last race held last October 3, 2021 seeing a record 80,000 runners take part in person and virtually.
Needless to emphasize the spectacularity of the traditional London Marathon route that takes place along 26 miles (42 km) from Greenwich to Buckingham Palace, including the most beautiful monuments such as Tower Bridge, the Tower of London, the Parliament, Big Ben, the London Eye… Time limit 5 hours!
The starting points for the London Marathon that are expected to be confirmed are 3:
Blackheath Station
Maze Hill Station
Greenwich Station
